Warak Rolling Therapy

Warak rolling has always been a therapeutic release for Haya growing up. 

We’re all very much in need of releasing our emotions these days and that’s why this session has been planned. 

Vine leaves – aka warak in Arabic – are at the heart of Palestinian homes, culture and food. Growing up, warak rolling was a communal effort that brought Haya, her mama and tetas together. During their sessions, they would catch up on life, chat about the latest gossip and share a memory together. 

In true Haya’s Kitchen fashion and in preservation of this tradition, you’re invited to join the next warak rolling therapy workshop. During the session, you'll get to learn the skill of warak rolling, listen to Haya's tales and traditions, and work together as a community to roll warak for your next gathering. Once you're done filling the pots, you'll have the chance to sit down and enjoy some of Haya's homemade Koosa and Warak (Zucchini and Vine Leaves) to end the session. 

Please note that the workshop and lunch include beef and lamb and there are no vegetarian alternatives available.

BOOKINGS

The workshop has 15 slots and it's on a first book, first claim basis. 

Once booked, your spot is confirmed. Closer to the date, you will receive a Whatsapp message from Haya confirming the details with you. 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS 

Please note that a lot of love and effort goes into curating and preparing the food for each experience. The food is prepared according to the number of people booked and food wastage doesn't fall in line with what Haya's Kitchen is about.

If you're planning to book, please make sure you are 100 percent confirmed as spots are limited. If you have to cancel for whatever reason, here's the breakdown: 
- More than 1 week before: full refund or your spot can be pushed to another date 
- 3 days before: your spot can be pushed to another date 
- 1 day before or day of experience: no refund and your spot cannot be pushed to another date
